Dear Worldbuilding Exchange Writer

Dear World Building Exchange writer,

Thank you so much for writing for me!

If you'd like to stalk me during the exchange, I mainly hang around tumblr besides here. On my AO3 you can see the fics I've bookmarked if that helps give you ideas or in figuring out the things I like, or you can check out my fic rec masterlist (still in progress) that may be easier to maneuver. And always feel free to ask if you have questions or want me to expand on anything!

All of this is totally optional, but I know a lot of the time it helps to have some direction to go in, so I've included some likes, dislikes, prompts, and squee for your inspiration. Include whatever you like or none if nothing I mention suits your fancy! Go wild! I'm up to date on everything, so no need to worry about spoilers.

Likes and Dislikes
Tbh, I'm really easy. I will read pretty much anything and my likes run the gamut from "totally normal" to "rare and kind of bizarre" to "probably squicks a lot of people." So whatever you can come up with, chances are good that I'll like it! If it's something not listed under dislikes, then feel free to give it a try if you like, even if it's not one of my specific likes. Which I kind of go on about, sorry not sorry...

fluff, AUs (coffee shop, college, high school, supernatural creatures, thieves/con artists, whatever ya got I'll probably love it), pining, fake/pretend relationships, antagonistic relationships that turn into love, kid fic, characters suddenly realizing they've been in love all along, domesticity/family, communication by snark, codependent friendships, get togethers, soulmates, adoptive parent-child relationships, queer/trans/genderqueer/etc. characters, magic, steampunk, road trips, tattoos/piercings/body mods, ghosts and monsters, arranged marriage, smoking, vegan food, cuddling, dealing with addiction, magical realism, epistolary

intelligence kink, language kink, competency kink, breeding/impregnation kink, BDSM (especially aftercare), rimming, tentacles, double penetration, sloppy seconds, dubcon/noncon, dirty talk, xeno, chub love, wing kink, D/S, bestiality (sentient/partly human or not), gangbang, daddy kink, non-human genitalia, oviposition, praise kink, mpreg (ok with incest and bestiality), watersports, messy sex, anal, creampie, doggy style, rough sex, incest, size difference, first time, age difference, prostitution, sex toys, telepathic sex, sexual slavery, made them do it, cock warming, underage

major character death, 1st and 2nd person POV, cancer fic, abuse in main pairings, infidelity, animal death/torture, zombies, suicide, crossovers (i.e. meeting the characters), recreational drug use, noir AUs

scat, vomit, vore, amputation, lactation, unbirthing

I'll try not to put particular emphasis on any of them as I'd love to get something for whatever you feel most comfortable writing, so how much description or squeeing I do has no bearing on how much I want any of them! The prompts are only there for inspiration, don't feel like you have to do one of them if you have something else in mind. I’ve also included optional ships for some of my requests, which you can add in secondarily if you want or ignore altogether. For all fandoms, I've requested fanfiction and meta, but art would be awesome for treats as well. Feel free to add in other characters into the background/side pairings as you like :)

[The Chronicles of Riddick]The Chronicles of Riddick
I love these movies so much. They provide such a broad and complicated world, but somehow each movie feels kind of insular, and I really like that about them. The worlds and creatures were just so interesting, especially Furya and the elementals. I also found the science and mercenary outposts fascinating, so I’d love to see something about those.

Richard B. Riddick
I find Riddick to be a really fascinating character. He’s definitely not a good person, but he certainly has his own code of conduct and set of morals, and I think that’s very interesting. I’d love to see something about how he came to be such a hunted man, like what led up to that and where. I’d also really like to see something about his heritage, maybe him finally making it to Furya or just learning more about where he came from and how he’s different from the other humans.

  • Riddick/Fry

  • Riddick/William Johns

  • Riddick/Boss Johns

  • Riddick’s first time in prison.

  • Riddick discovers he’s practically immortal.

  • Riddick is captured and experimented on, leaving him with strange mutations.

WB: Furya
There are so many hints and bits of information scattered throughout the movie, but I feel like what we know from there doesn’t really add up to much. I would love to know more! Why is Furya basically a faerie tale in the wider galaxy? What is Furya like? And from that, what are Furyan other than Riddick like? I’d love to see something where he gets to meet more other Furyans, especially ones who actually like… know about Furya.

WB: Necromonger Society
We see quite a bit about the Necromongers, even see them doing their thing on their ship. But I would love to see more about the day to day. More about the Necromongers who aren’t at the top of the food chain. The weird, specialized ones are really cool and I’d love to see something from their POV, but also the normal soldiers. Why did they choose the Necromonger way of life? Was it just because they didn’t want to die? How long have they been a Necromonger? Are they true believers? Has their belief changed over time as they saw more of the Necromonger society and killing planets?

WB: The Underverse
The Underverse gets talked about a lot in the movies, but I would so like to actually see what it’s like. Does it actually exist or is it just a faerie tale used to keep the Necromongers in line? I think both possibilities are super interesting. I’d love to see something about those who have seen it, but also something about others actually getting to it. Maybe it’s Vaako or Riddick, maybe it’s someone else. How do they react to finally finding it? How does it change things?

[Dinotopia]Dinotopia - James Gurney
This is one of my favorite book series ever tbh (I have a signed copy of the first book which is baaaasically my most prized possession). I love how beautiful the writing and the art is, how interesting and complex the Dinotopian society is. Honestly I just love everything about it! I’d really like to see something exploring the culture more, especially the different towns/regions/dinosaur species. I’m a big fan of both the hatcheries and the skybax riders, though the politics of Waterfall City is v interesting as well and I love the library.

Any or No Characters, Original Character(s)
I don’t have an attachment to any of the characters in particular, so feel free to use any of the existing ones or original characters, and any relationships you want (including dinosaur/human if that’s your thing). Human POVs are cool, dinosaur ones are really really cool lol

  • A day in the life of a dinosaur dentist.

  • An archaeologist who discovers new carvings, a new entrance to the World Below, etc.

  • A Dinotopian festival day.

WB: Carnivores, WB: Mammals
There’s honestly so much to explore about the beings that live on Dinotopia. We see many of them, but most of them it’s only in glances from a human perspective. I’d love to see them being delved more deeply into. What are carnivore societies actually like? How do they differ from each other? Is it possible for them to live peacefully in Dinotopian society? For the mammals, human or non-human is equally fine. I can’t remember if any non-human mammals are shown, but I would love to see how they would get along in Dinotopian society. Have they been there all along with the dinosaurs or did they wash up too? So many things to consider!

WB: Maintaining a Utopia, WB: Relationship with the modern world
One of the things I love about Dinotopia is that it’s a utopia and that there’s so much effort put into making it so for both dinosaurs and humans. I’d love to see more of the things behind the scenes that go into maintaining the utopia. What is the bureaucracy like? How do they make decisions and enforce them? Are there some things or beings that make the utopia more difficult to maintain? What balance has to be made to make dinosaurs and humans both live happily and peacefully? Is there a forward direction or is everything mostly static? I get the idea that things are mostly static in Dinotopia, at least for incredibly long stretches of time. With things changing to rapidly in the outside world, how does that change things? With more recent newcomers, what do they bring to Dinotopia (both in terms of physical things, but also thoughts, beliefs, traditions, etc.) that have an effect? I’d especially love to see something about one of those newcomers, how they acclimate to a world that seems so far behind the one they left. On a funnier note, I’d really love to see someone who grew up on Jurassic Park media trying to deal with actually living in a world with dinosaurs, and ones that are mostly friendly and who are sentient beings on equal footing with humans.

[Doom]Doom (2005)
I really love this movie. I know nothing about the games, so for me, this was just so much fun. I enjoyed seeing the archaeology and the research, but also just seeing the RRTS work together (some of the time lol). And of course monsters.

Asher "Sarge" Mahonin
I really liked Sarge, and then he turned into a terrible monster even before he actually went monstrous. I find his motivations really interesting bc from what we see beforehand, he was a good guy and a good leader. But then he goes so hard on the UAC’s orders, to the exclusion of even taking care of his team. How did he get to that point? Why is he so much more invested in what the UAC wants than what his teammates are telling him is right?

  • Sarge/Reaper

Gregory "Duke" Schofield
Duke was so so sweet and I liked him a lot. I was really upset he didn’t make it tbh. He honestly struck me as the most like… moral and good of all of them, at least of the RRTS. He obviously cared a lot about his teammates, but he also cared a lot about keeping Sam safe and doing the best he could at his job.

  • Duke/Sam

John "Reaper" Grimm
How much do I love Reaper? So much, and not even just bc he’s played by Karl Urban lol He’s just such an aggressively good character, even more so bc he’s worried about not being good enough. He’s a bit broken as well by what happened to his parents, and I don’t think he’s ever really dealt with that. Maybe he will after everything, now that he’s talking to Sam again, but he also seems like someone who feels like he’s failed if he can’t take care of his problems himself. I think that was part of it with Sarge, that he felt so betrayed in part bc he had a close connection with Sarge and couldn’t believe that he’d missed something like that.

  • Reaper/Sarge

  • How Reaper joined the RRTS.

Katsuhiko Kumanosuke "Mac" Takahashi
Mac was great and I really wish we would have seen more of him. He seemed like the quiet type, but he also had a nice sarcastic streak. I’d love to see more of that. Really, I’d just like to see him getting a bit of the spotlight!

  • Mac/Pinky

Samantha Grimm
I really love Sam. She’s so smart and takes no bullshit, which is something I adore. I’d love to see something pre-movie, like what’s she’s working on and what it’s like for her to live alone in the same place she lost her parents. Post-movie would be awesome as well, especially something about how she deals with the work on Mars not being what she thought it was and basically being considered an acceptable casualty to the UAC.

  • Sam/Duke

WB: Genetic Research
I know very little about genetics, but I found the genetic research in this movie very interesting. Mostly bc I’m pretty sure it’s not actually feasible in any way, but I would love to see what would make it actually feasible! Or at least a better way to explain it. I guess the biggest question is how different people are affected in different ways, but it would also be great to see the research being done before, both the big stuff we see hints of and the other things that Sam thought they were actually working on.

WB: Martian Archaeology, WB: Olduvai Research Station
I was an anthropology major in college and took several archaeology classes, so I was really fascinated by this aspect of the movie. I’d love to see anything from the archaeology and research we see in the movie to the stuff that Reaper and Sam’s parents were working on. What new discoveries have been made? How has the research station changed?

WB: Rapid Response Tactical Squad, WB: Union Aerospace Corporation
Part of what makes this interesting, I think, is that what we see of the RRTS and UAC at the beginning of the movie is so different to what we know by the end. The RRTS seems like such a close knit group, but they fall apart on Olduvai, and pretty spectacularly at that. I’d love to see the history of the team, how it was formed, how each member came on, how they learned to work together, all that. I’d also love to see more about the UAC and how exactly they connect to the RRTS. How much power do they have, both for Olduvai and on earth? What happens with them after the disaster on Olduvai?

[Harry Potter]Harry Potter - Wizarding World
Despite all the (many, many) faults, this fandom will probably always be one of my favorites and I just really love the characters and the world, how there is so much there behind the scenes to be explored. My preference for timeline/era is during Fantastic Beasts or the Harry Potter books/movies time, though I certainly don’t mind seeing something outside of that. I would rather no next gen, though.

Credence Barebone
Credence is a precious baby, and I really feel like Fantastic Beasts didn’t use him to his full potential. How exactly he and the Obscurus are connected? Is Credence at all aware before the end? I would also love to see more backstory, about how he came to live with Mary Lou or why he stayed. Did he believe all the anti-witch stuff? How much did he know about the magical world? There’s just so much we didn’t really get to see of him.

  • Credence/Original Percival

  • Credence/Grindelwald (pref dubcon)

  • The first time Credence realized magic was real.

  • A day in Credence’s life before Grindelwald came.

Dudley Dursley
Dudley is one of my favorite characters because he has so much potential for change and he's at a really interest point between the muggle and wizarding worlds, re: being Harry's cousin and word of god having a witch daughter. I would love to see that expanded upon, especially once he realizes that the way he was brought up was pretty fucked up. How does he change? How does his relationship with his parents change? If he does have magic children, what does he do?

  • Dudley/Harry

  • Dudley/OC

  • What happened after Dudley and his parents were taken to the safe house.

  • Dursley tries to make up for how he treated Harry when they were kids.

Harry Potter
Oh, Harry. I actually didn’t like Harry much when I first read the books, but I’ve come to like him a lot more. I feel like there’s so much about him that we didn’t get to see because as the POV character, he was so outwardly focused. I’d really like to see more about how events actually effected him, about what he actually wanted and thought aside from what was expected of him. Or about what he would do and feel post books (barring the epilogue bc no).

  • Harry/Dudley

  • Harry/Voldemort

  • Harry/Fenrir

  • Harry during elementary school.

  • What Harry does after his life purpose of defeating Voldemort is completed.

Original Percival Graves
One of the things I find most interesting (and frustrating) about Fantastic Beasts is how little we know about the original Percival. What was he like before, the same as we saw or different? How long ago did Grindelwald replace him? What happened to him when he did? After Grindelwald was “defeated,” what happened to him? What does he do after someone took over his life and no one noticed? There’s just so so much to explore there, and I don’t think we’ll ever get those answers from canon.

  • Percival/Credence

  • Percival is found and told what happened while Grindelwald was pretending to be him.

  • What Percival’s life was like before Grindelwald.

Tom Riddle | Voldemort
My favorite character! I love Voldemort in every iteration and I would be delighted to see absolutely anything about him. What was Tom really like at the orphanage before Dumbledore showed up? What did he do after he was rejected from the DADA teaching position? How does he train his followers? What kind of Dark magic does he know? Really just… anything.

  • Harry/Voldemort

  • Tom researches blood magic as a way to immortality.

  • Tom at the orphanage.

Original Muggleborn Characters
I’d so so love to see some of the magical world from an outside point of view. Muggleborn characters are especially interesting bc they’re in both the muggle and magical worlds, and there’s so much learning that has to go on there. Do they feel more connected to one world over the other? What’s the hardest thing about going into the magical world? How much do their muggle family and friends know? What do they do after Hogwarts (or whatever other magical school)?

  • The day they learned they were magical.

  • Going back to the magical world for summer after their first year at school.

WB: New Salem Philanthropic Society
I’m really fascinated by the New Salem Philanthropic Society. We don’t actually get a whole lot of it from the movie, which I think is a shame. There has to be so much there, and so much history. I know there is extra-canon material I’m not familiar with, so feel free to bring that in. Or tying it into real events would be super cool.

WB: News Media
I really love all the news media we get out of the Potter universe. Give me newspaper articles and pamphlets and radio and photojournalism and tv and social media and even school newspapers. Does anyone in the wizarding world get muggle news? Does anyone in muggle world accidentally come across any wizarding news? How does the news change over time and between England and the US?

WB: Spell Creation
I saw a post on tumblr recently that was talking about spell creation, and it really got me interested in the mechanics of it in the Potter universe. Most of the spells we see are Latin based, but not all of them, and I’d especially love to see something about spells that aren’t based on Latin. What are the mechanics of spell creation? Are they different based on where the wizard is from or what language they use? Does spell creation take special training? We know Snape created some of his own spells, and Voldemort did too, but how did they learn? Is there a lot of trial and error? Really just anything would be awesome.

WB: Magical Education
Harry Potter give quite a good glimpse into magical education, but I feel like there’s still so much we don’t know. There’s never any mention of what education kids get before going to Hogwarts, or after. Are there magical primary schools? Universities? Homeschooling coolitions? What are the other schools we know about like and what’s education like before and after them? And then there have to be so many magical people that aren’t at one of those few schools. And many societies where the boarding school style education just isn’t practical or culturally appropriate. So how are they different and what are they like? I’d be especially excited to see something very different from Hogwarts, whether that’s in location or magical culture or education style.

WB: Magical Jobs
I always felt like there had to be some really interesting jobs in the magical world even though we don’t get to see a whole lot of variety in that regard. But all those kids that graduate from Hogwarts have to do something afterward, so what is it that they do? Do they go straight into jobs at the Ministry? I can’t imagine that there are that many job openings every year when the British magical world seems so small. So some of them have to go elsewhere, to shops and research positions and news and whatever else. Tell me about some of those less well known magical jobs. Tell me about the kids who don’t know what they want to do after school, so they jump around from job to job. Tell me about the muggleborn kids who decide to go work in the muggle world instead of the magical one.

WB: Magical Politics
Se we see bits and pieces of this in canon, but very little of it is very good or effective. But there has to be something more stable behind it all, because I’m pretty sure the whole wizarding world would crumble down if they didn’t. Which is to say, I’d be especially excited to see the behind the scenes bureaucracy of magical politics in whatever country and time. Like what went on to have the Triwizard tournament happen after so long? What all goes into the quidditch world cup? Those two had to take a lot of cooperation between countries, and so many permits and visas and committees. I’d also be really interested in see something about the play between magical and muggle politics, like the Minister of Magic getting in contact with the Prime Minister, or whatever the equivalent would be somewhere else.

WB: Magical Religions
I’m so so fascinated by the many possibilities of magical religions, especially since there’s really no mention of it in canon. It doesn’t seem likely that the major muggle religions would be the exact same in the magical world, if they’re even a thing for anyone but muggleborns and halfbloods.

WB: Parseltongue
I find parseltongue really interesting, especially since we know so little about it. We know it comes from Slytherin’s line, but is it something that can be learned as well? Is it something that Harry had naturally or only had because of the horcrux in him? Did parseltongue start with Slytherin? Whether it did or not, how did it come about, was it a spell or a curse or a magical gift or even something gotten from having a magical creature in the line?

[John Wick]John Wick
I love love love these movies, and I’m so fascinated by the world it created, where the criminal underground is apparently such a widespread, everyday part. It’s such a fun thing to explore.

I’m so fascinated by Aurelio’s chill friendship with John. They’ve obviously known each other for quite awhile, so I’d love to know more about how they met and about their history together. Has he always been a mechanic? How did he get involved with providing services for The Continental? Is his business all criminal, or does he run a legitimate business as well? He’s apparently in the business of taking bounties as well as being a mechanic, so it would be great to see more about that too.

  • Aurelio/John

We know basically zero about Charlie, but I’m really interested in knowing more about his cleaning business. Is he a personal contact of John’s or does he work for The Continental? How did he get into the cleaning business?

I loved Ares so so much. I really thought she was one of the most interesting characters, partly because she was just so cool and partly because she was loyal to Santino but seemed so fascinated by (and in awe of?) John. I would love to see something about how she came to work for Santino. And I’d especially love to see something where she interacts more with John, whether that’s more fighting or she survives and becomes an ally.

  • Ares/John

John Wick
I mean, it is all about him lol John is such an interesting character because of his skills and history, but also because he (tried to) put that all behind him for love. He sure made a name for himself before Helen, so tell me about that! How did he get into the business and what was his training? How exactly did he get such a reputation? Then after Helen, tell me more about their life together. I’d love to see them getting some happier time together. And of course there’s what happens after the movies. The second one left off at such an important crux, I’d love to see where that goes!

  • John/Helen

  • John/Aurelio

  • John/Ares

I really liked Jimmy and how nonchalant he was about all the bodies in John’s house. How did he and John meet? It didn’t seem like that was the first time he’d seen John with a bunch of bodies, so I’d love to know the history on that.

Cassian and John have an obviously deep history that was only really hinted at, so I would love to know more about that. How did they meet? I got the feeling that they’d been something like friends at one point. Was there something that changed that even before what happened to Gianna?

I really love the idea of The Continental, and Charon is one of the most important characters to that. How did he come to work there and how long has he been there? I feel like it’s probably been a long time, and he’s seen a lot of shit. I mean, it’s The Continental, there’s got to have been a ton of really interesting shit happening there over the years. Tell me about that!

  • Charon/Winston

Same as with Charon, basically, though I think Winston is especially interesting since he seems to be one of (if not the) most powerful people in the criminal underground. I kind of got the idea that he founded the Continental, and was probably had some sort of power over the High Table. Tell me about that! Or tell me another way he came to run the Continental and be such an important figure in the criminal world. I’m also really interested in his relationship with John, since he seems to care about John a lot more than he probably should. Why is that? Why is he so interested in making sure that John has a chance against the High Table?

  • Winston/Charon

WB: Assassins, WB: Cleaners
I so so love this world of assassins and their folk. I’d love to see more about how it’s organized and how it because such a huge thing. Has it been like this for a long time? Are there different kinds of assassins? How does one join their ranks? And the cleaners, are they directly connected with the assassins or just by virtue of proximity? For both, are they run by their own organized leaders or do they all answer to the High Table? Or something else entirely?

WB: Blood Oath Marker, WB: Gold Coins, WB: Excommunicado
The little things that make up the world of John Wick are really cool, but I feel like we don’t know enough about them. I’d love to know more! What exactly do the Blood Oath Markers mean and how are they passed around? Same with the gold coins, which seem to be a major part of the criminal financial system. Where do they come from and how does one usually get them? I feel like all of these things have a heavy Catholic influence, but especially the concept of Excommunicado. It’s fascinating how it has such power over the whole criminal world, how one word can ruin an assassin’s life so easily. Tell me more about it!

WB: Continental Hotel, WB: The High Table, WB: Organized Crime
These all tie together in some way, but I think they’re all also equally fascinating on their own. The Continental Hotel seems to be a powerful place, and one everyone in the criminal world is familiar with. How did it become like that? How is it run exactly? The High Table is similarly interesting, especially since it’s even more shrouded in mystery. We only really know about one family on it, but there are a lot more of them, and we don’t even really know what they do or how they have that power. So… how do they? And then of course organized crime in general. We get hints about a lot of moving parts in this world, so tell me about any and all of them!

I had my doubts about the new Jumanji movie, but I really loved it. I feel like it did really well by the first one, and created some interesting characters. I would have loved to explore the world more, but I guess that’s what this is for! For all of the characters, I’m fine with them as their avatars or their out-of-game selves.

Doctor Smolder Bravestone
Oh Bravestone. It was so interesting to see Spencer stuck in Bravestone’s body and I’d love to see more about how Spencer felt about that, both during and after they went home. Was it a hard adjustment? Also, it would be great to see more of the Bravestone backstory.

  • Bravestone/Mouse

Franklin "Mouse" Finbar
Poor little Mouse. He kind of got the short end of the straw in anything, but I think that’s what makes him interesting. Fridge seemed to have a hard time adjusting, so it would be great to see more about that.

  • Mouse/Bravestone

Jefferson "Seaplane" McDonough
I felt so sorry for Seaplane being stuck in Jumanji all alone for so long, especially once he found out how much time had passed back at home. I’d love to see something about what he was doing all that time, all the tries to finish the game, all the things he found out about Jumanji. I’d especially love something where when they go back, he goes back to the time with everyone else instead of when he came from. It seems more in keeping with the original movie, plus it adds so much more drama!

  • Seaplane/Shelly

Professor Shelly Oberon
Shelly is probably my favorite character of all of them to be honest. It was so much fun to see a teenage girl in Jack Black’s body. Plus, Bethany was just so fantastic, how she was so unashamed of being herself and how she wouldn’t take shit from anyone. I wonder how she took being back in her own body, since she seemed the one most comfortable as her avatar, despite her initial freak out. I would love see more about that.

  • Shelly/Ruby

  • Shelly/Seaplane

Ruby Roundhouse
I think Ruby probably had the most character growth, and I love that. She was so awkward and unconfident, despite her blustering, but by the end she really seemed to be more comfortable with herself. I’d love to see if that continues after they go home.

  • Ruby/Shelly

WB: Non-Player Characters
I wish we would have gotten to see a little more depth with the NPCs. I thought they were really interesting, especially Nigel and the ones at the bazaar. What do they do when the PCs are not there? How much sentience and control over their own actions do they have? What was Jumanji like for them before the jewel was taken?

WB: Strengths and Weaknesses
This movie had some rather strange strengths and weaknesses. Especially weaknesses. We saw some of most if not all of them, but I’d love to explore the more in depth. Why those strengths and weaknesses for those characters?

WB: Technology
Technology in Jumanji is an interesting subject because of the magic there. I’d love to see what possibilities there are because of that, and how the technology there would differ from that on earth. Is it more steampunk? Is all technology magical? Is there any integration of earth tech into Jumanji?

WB: The Nature of Time, WB: The Origins of Jumanji
Jumanji is a strange place and although it has rules, it doesn’t really seem to want anyone to know those rules. Like how time passes between Jumanji and earth. Does Jumanji control it? Is it beyond Jumanji? For that matter, is there anything beyond or above Jumanji? Where did Jumanji come from, like was it created or is it sentient? It always comes back and it seems malevolent, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s evil versus just chaotic.

[Labyrinth]Labyrinth (1986)
This movie has been one of my favorites since the first time I saw it as a teenager. I love the glitter and the glamour and the weirdness and the magic and the manipulation. Jareth is really interesting to me, especially his motives and his desires because they all seem so twisted up in the movie that it’s hard to see what’s what. I’d especially like to see something set after the movie, with Sarah or Toby going to Jareth or him coming to them. I’m also familiar with the manga/graphic novel adaption if you want to bring in any elements of that.

Jareth is such a delightful and complicated character. I don’t know how canon it is exactly, but I definitely see him more as a fae. I like that play of him not having the same rules as humans. I’d love see more of him as the Goblin King, what he does when not creeping on Sarah, what he wants, how he runs the Labyrinth.

  • Jareth/Sarah

  • Jareth/Toby

Sarah Williams
Oh Sarah. She was wonderful and I loved seeing her really come into her own through the movie. I’d love to see what she does afterward, if she’s traumatized by what happened to her or if she becomes even stronger and more sure of herself. It would be really interesting to see how she’s changed, especially if it made her into someone who’s smarter and more clever and more dangerous.

  • Sarah/Jareth

WB: Effects of humans on Labyrinth and the Goblin King, WB: Lasting effects of the Labyrinth on humans
I hadn’t thought about it much before, but it would be really interesting to see what effects are left by humans and the Labyrinth. Do the humans become more fae-like? Is there some sort of decay or lasting connection? Is it something they notice immediately or something that they don’t notice for a long time… until it’s too late?

WB: Goblin Society, WB: Jareth's Castle, WB: the Labyrinth
We don’t get to see a lot about the world of the Labyrinth outside of Sarah’s perspective. I’d love to see more about what it’s really like, how it works when there’s not some human wondering around. Like the goblins, what is their society like? And why is Jareth, who doesn’t seem to be a goblin, their king? Do all the goblins live at the castle? Are there any other creatures there? I always got the idea that it and the Labyrinth itself were… maybe not sentient, but something more than just objects. So what are they and how were they made? Did Jareth create them or were they there before him?

[Star Wars]Star Wars Sequel Trilogy (Movies and EU)
Most of my interest in Star Wars is in the First Order tbh. I really enjoy exploring the dynamics of the First Order and seeing all the different places in the galaxy. I’d love to see something that goes a lot further than the movie, in terms of worldbuilding and character. I really enjoyed TFA, but I hated TLJ, so feel free to ignore anything and everything from there.

Armitage Hux
I love Hux so much, you guys. He’s so vicious and snarky and brilliant, with a wonderfully angsty backstory. I’d love to see something of him at the Academy or even before. I know bits of canon from the books, but I want more! Tell me all about why he worked so hard to get up the ranks of the First Order and what his own personal goals are for it. How does he feel about Snoke? What is his endgame? I’d also love to see something with him becoming emperor, since that’s always a fun AU.

  • Hux/Kylo

Bazine Netal
I really liked Bazine and her whole aesthetic, and I wish we would have gotten to see more of her in the movie. What does she do exactly? I wasn’t sure if she worked for the First Order, or just got paid by them. So tell me more about her, before TFA or after.

  • Bazine/Grummgar

Knights of Ren, WB: Role of the Knights of Ren
I’m really fascinated by the Knights and kind of disappointed that so far the movies have not given us much about them. So I’d love to see something about how they were formed and what they do. I like the idea that they’re the students that Kylo brought with him after Luke’s school. How did they become loyal to Kylo, if they are? Or are they more loyal to Snoke? I’d really just love to see what kind of powers they have and how they use them. Especially in relation to the First Order.

  • Knights/Kylo

  • Knights/Knights

Kylo Ren
I love how conflicted Kylo is as a character and it would be great to explore that, especially about his family and how he came to the Dark Side in the first place. I feel like he was one of the kids who, on the surface, had a really wonderful family that ended up fucking him up big time. I’d really love something about that, about him becoming disillusioned with the senate and the rebels, about not fitting in with Luke’s jedi teaching. I see him as someone who tries so hard to get attention and affection, and he just never got it in the way he needed it and so he lashed out.

  • Kylo/Hux

  • Kylo/Knights

  • Kylo/Snoke

I think Phasma has a lot of potential that the movies haven’t really gotten into. I’m especially interested in seeing her backstory, how she got into the First Order and how she rose through the ranks to Captain. Did she start as a Stormtrooper and that’s why she wears the armor? Or is there another reason? I’d love to see something with her interacting with the Stormtroopers, either her being one of them or training them.

  • Phasma/Finn

Snoke, WB: Snoke's Origins
I’m honestly really pissed about how Snoke was treated in TLJ because I really wanted to see more out of him. More backstory, more power, more… more. So give me that! Where did Snoke come from and what does he want? Is he really a part of the First Order or was he just using them for whatever his aims were?

  • Snoke/Kylo

Stormtroopers, WB: Stormtrooper Culture
I really just thought it would be interesting to see something about Stormtrooper culture in the Order and about their training and such. What’s it like in the Stormtrooper barracks? Are they all male humans or have they expanded since the Empire days? I like to imagine Phasma as the Stormtrooper mom, strict but nurturing bc she really does want them to succeed, but you certainly don’t have to include that. How do they feel about the Force, do they think of it as religious or political? What do they do with themselves when they're not on duty, do they have hobbies or parties or play pranks? I know there is backstory with Finn, but something after he defects or just characters that are far removed socially from him would be extra awesome. Also, I especially loved those two Stormtroopers who noped right out when Kylo was breaking shit, so I would absolutely love to see more of them.

  • The secret Stormtrooper Church of the Force and their high priestess Phasma.

  • Stormtrooper stitch 'n bitch.

WB: Arkanis Academy
What kinds of things do the kids learn at the Academy? How do you get into the Academy? It would be cool to see the difference between kids of old Empire officers and kids of newer First Order officers and maybe something like scholarship kids or ones from neutral planets whose parents thought it would give them a better shot. I can imagine the dynamics of those kinds of cliques could be really interesting, and possibly dangerous. How did the Academy start and how has it changed to create better generations of First Order officers? I feel like it would be really interesting to see who is teaching at the Academy and how they balance the actual teaching with the politics of their positions. I mean, it’s basically military school on steroids.

WB: Different types of Force user
We don’t see a whole lot of variation in Force users, especially in the newer movies. What types are there and how are they different? Is the training different for them than what we see? Are some races better at different types or have different beliefs about the Force?

WB: First Order, WB: First Order Propaganda
I’m so so interested in seeing more of the First Order outside of the narrow view we get in the movies. I love political intrigue and power struggles and all of that, which I think there’s great opportunity for. What’s it like in the bureaucracy of the First Order? Do the lower level paper pushers wish they could move up and command troops or are they happy to just be helping everything run smoothly? How exactly is First Order command structured and are they completely military or is there something like a senate or council that makes decisions? I’d love to see more of a break from just a copy of the Empire, maybe with them studying the things that went wrong back in the day and trying to make sure that their new organization won’t have the same problems.

WB: Starkiller Base
I thought Starkiller Base was really cool and I’d love to see more about it, from an engineering standpoint or from a life on base standpoint or whatever. What all went into building Starkiller and then running it?

[Voltron]Voltron: Legendary Defender
I’m not a real big watcher of animated shows, but I really enjoyed this one. The characters are really great and the different aliens and planets are a lot of fun. I’m not a big fan of Allura, so please leave her out or minimize her role if she needs to be there. I honestly don’t give two shits about the ages or age differences of any of the characters, so feel free to do whatever makes you most comfortable.

Galra Scientist(s), WB: Galra Empire, WB: Galran Culture
We see a whole lot more soldiers in the show than scientists, but since the Galran empire is so advanced, there have to be a lot of them. I’d love to see something about their work, from tech to magic to exploration. Do they work with other races or incorporate their science? What kind of support do they have from the empire? And as for the empire, I’d really like to see how they work more deeply than what we’ve seen so far. They’re a very long lived race, so how have they changed over the years? What are the regular soldiers like and what do they do when they’re not fighting? I’m sure we’ll get more of the backstory of Galran contact with earth, but after finding out about Keith, I’m really intrigued. When did they come to earth and does anyone there know? What did they do while there?

I love Hunk a lot. He’s so sweet and loyal and wonderful. Sometimes I feel like he’s the thing that really holds the team together lol I’d love to see more from his perspective about being a paladin and how he feels about being so far from earth.

  • Hunk/Lance

  • Hunk/Shay

  • Hunk/Sal

Lance is such a delightful goof, but also one of the saddest characters. He was obviously very close to his family and misses them a lot, but I think there’s also something else. He’s always trying to prove himself, and usually just causes messes on the way. I would love something that really digs into that part of him.

  • Lance/Hunk

  • Lance/Keith

Pidge | Katie Holt
Pidge is prob my fave. I love Pidge’s enthusiasm for everything, especially all the new technology and cute little aliens. I’d love to see something where Pidge really gets to go wild with building something or figuring out something technical. Give me Pidge being excited and happy and having fun with all the interesting alien stuff! Also, anything about Pidge at the Garrison would be cool too. I’m a fan of he/him pronouns for Pidge, but gender neutral or she/her pronouns are fine too. Genderqueer Pidge is the best.

  • Pidge/Shiro

Shay, WB: Balmera
I liked Shay a lot, especially since she’s so different from everyone else. She cares about her people a lot, but she’s also curious and sweet. I’d love to see how life changed for her with the Galrans gone from the Balmera. I’d also just love to see more about the Balmeran culture and the symbiotic relationship they have with the Balmera.

  • Shay/Hunk

Vrepit Sal
I found Sal absolutely delightful and I wish we could see him again. He was such a strange character, but I loved that Hunk could get him to listen and learn. I’d love to see what he does after they leave the mall, if he really did go after Hunk or if he continued with his restaurant.

  • Sal/Hunk

WB: Alien Tech
There are all kinds of alien tech out there in the universe, and I’d love to see more of it. The existing cultures are awesome and I’d love to see more of their tech, but I’d also love to see some from cultures that are just mentioned or that have been killed off. There are so many possibilities!

WB: Unilu Culture
The Unilu culture was so cool, especially since it’s really the only one that we can see has changed. The Unilu that Coran remembered was so different than what we got to see at the space mall, though there were a few remnants. I’d love to see how it changed and why. And I’d also just love to see more of what Unilu culture was 10,000 years ago, because it sounded really cool.

WB: Galaxy Garrison
The Galaxy Garrison is something I’m really surprised we haven’t seen more of. They’re kind of important to all the characters, but we really only see a little at the beginning and a few flashbacks. I’d love to know more about what the training there is like, how the students get in, what they do afterwards. It seems to basically be an earth-wide, military-science endeavor, which sounds pretty cool to me. Tell me about what it’s like there and what they do!

WB: Space Mall
This was one of my favorite episodes and I’d love to explore more of the mall. It’s like a quirky version of the ones here, but so much more exciting and interesting. But even the boring, normal stores are cool. Tell me about the little stores and restaurants and the people who run them and the people who shop there!
