Fandom Snowflake Challenge: Day 6

Fandom Snowflake Challenge banner

Create your own challenge. What’s something you want to see more people doing in fandom? Is there something you’ve tried that you think other people would enjoy if they gave it a go? Dare your friends to try it out, and have fun with it.

This is always a hard one. I still stand by my challenge from last year, and I suppose this one is actually similar to part two of that one. But I've been thinking about this lately, so I thought it was appropriate to put here.

My challenge is to SHARE!

By that I mean share your art, your fic, your meta, your headcanons, your reviews, your crafts, your whatever. Share your whatever fandom related things you do. I know it's hard to put yourself and your creations out into the world when you don't think they're worth sharing and and when you're afraid and when there's the possibility of people not liking it or you, of getting hate, of feeling embarrassed. But let me tell you, whatever you do is worth sharing. It's ok to be afraid. Whatever you do may not get the attention it deserves and you may get negative feedback, and that hurts, but sharing it is an amazing accomplishment. You are brave and amazing and appreciated. It may not always feel like that, but someone is reading your fic and loving your art and cheering at your headcanon. Maybe you made someone's day or touched them in some way or really made them think. You do something amazing by sharing in fandom bc fandom is built on sharing and creating and loving and sharing some more.

So share, share, share. Someone out there is loving whatever you do :)

Wow. This is exactly what I've been dreading. I'm a podficcer by trade, but every once in a while I want to write a fic and share it. ...then I lose my courage.
Wanting to do something out of our norm is pretty intimidating ngl. But it can also be so great to branch out into new parts of fandom :) If you do post some fic you've written, please feel free to link me. I promise to read and comment!
