I have an interview!

I've been trying to get another job for awhile, but especially recently bc I haven't had work at my editing job in like 3 weeks and prob won't until after Christmas at least. My friend's husband recommended I apply to where he works bc it's basically guaranteed I'll get a job there, but I'd been putting it off in hopes that one of the jobs I wanted more would contact me. But then yesterday I got an email saying my student loan payment was going up by more than double starting in January, so on top of all our other financial problems, I really need to be bringing in more money asap. So finally gave in and applied to the job he'd referred me to last night and when I got up this morning I had an email saying they wanted me to come in for an interview! My interview is set for Monday afternoon and I'm kind of terrified/excited. This is only the third interview I've gotten in the past two years. One of them immediately got me the job at the library last year, so I'm hoping that'll happen here too. And it's only a part-time job, which I think will be good for me. I don't think I can deal with having a full time job again, at least right now. It's more money, but it's just way too much stress.

I've also got a house sitting/pet sitting job starting next week for some family friends. Idk how much that'll actually pay, but it'll be nice to have some time out of the house and away from my family. Plus their dog is a sweetheart (he's from the litter our dogs had so I'm a little biased, but he is really sweet). They don't give him enough attention imo, so I'm gonna try to spend plenty of time with him and maybe teach him some since they really don't know how to do that. A few years ago I pet sat for them and they were amazed I managed to teach him to sit before being fed which is really easy?? Whatever, time away from home and with animals sounds good to me.

Anyway, things are tentatively starting to look up, which is honestly a relief. Hopefully next week I'll have enough money to finish buying Christmas presents at least lol

Good luck!!

Thank you!
Awwwwwwwww... good luck for the job interview. Hope it'll work out for you... I know how stressful it can be NOT to have work and NOT to earn money, and I'm glad I have a steady job for almost 2 years now, because I was without work for a couple of months before that, so there's that... Cross my fingers for you!
It really is so stressful! Thank you :)
Wishing you the best possible outcome from this interview!

Thank you! :)
